Server installation --------------------- 1. Download and install Zoo server from Rhino web site. ( https://www.rhino3d.com/download/zoo/7/latest/ ) 2. Start Zoo Admin panel 3. Stop the Zoo service. Use Tools \ Stop 4. Exit Zoo Admin panel 5. Download www.mesh2surface.com/download/zoo/m2s_zoo6.zip 6. Extract the zip file in the Zoo plugins directory. Normally located at: C:\Program Files (x86)\Zoo 7\Plugins 7. Right click on C:\Program Files (x86)\Zoo 7\Plugins\m2sZooPlugin.dll and select properties 8. In the Properties dialog if you see 'Unblock' option, please select it and click Apply ( refer to: www.mesh2surface.com/download/zoo/unblock.png ) 9. You will nee Administrative rights to Unblock the Dll ( this is the Microsoft Windows Security issue, if the user is not administrator ) 7a. Right click on C:\Program Files (x86)\Zoo 7\Plugins\m2sinstalllicense.exe and select properties 8a. In the Properties dialog if you see 'Unblock' option, please select it and click Apply ( refer to: www.mesh2surface.com/download/zoo/unblock.png ) 9a. You will nee Administrative rights to Unblock the Dll ( this is the Microsoft Windows Security issue, if the user is not administrator ) 10. Start Zoo Admin panel 11. Start again Zoo service. Use Tools \ Start 12. Select add license from the toolbar or Edit \ Add... from the menu. 13. Make sure you select the product Mesh2Surface in the dialog. 14. Enter simple text - for example 'request' 15. A message will be shown with MAC address of the computer where the Zoo server is installed. 16. Send this address to support@mesh2surface.com 17. When you receive a new product key, enter it from the Zoo admin panel as a license key. 18. In order to have the server working properly make sure that it is visible from the other computers and the service is running. Check http://wiki.mcneel.com/zoo/home for troubleshooting. Client site installation ------------------------ 1. Make Sure that you have Rhino installed 2. Download and install the latest mesh2Surface plugin. Make sure you have version 4.2.12 or higher. 3. Start Rhinoceros and make sure that Mesh2surface menu is visible. 4. Make sure that there is no another installation of Mesh2Surface on the network running and using Zoo server. 5. Select Mesh2Surface \ Options \ Use Zoo Licensing Server. 6. When prompted ONLY SELECT 'Use the Zoo' 7. Enter the IP address of the Server installation 8. Use test connectivity to ensure that the zoo server is accessible. 9. If the server is not visible visit http://wiki.mcneel.com/zoo/home and check the troubleshooting area. 10. Select Mesh2Surface \ About... 11. You should see a version of the software and it should be 4.2.12 or higher 12. For licensing information you should see Mechanical mode (Network license) or Premium (Network license).
